It’s‬‭ responsible‬‭ for‬‭ reducing‬‭ food‬‭ waste‬‭,‬‭ while‬‭ producing‬‭ soil‬‭ enhancers‬‭ for‬‭ local‬ community‬‭ gardens‬‭ &‬‭ urban‬‭ farms.‬‭ We‬‭ have‬‭ been‬‭ working‬‭ with‬‭ other‬ Community‬‭ Allies‬‭ on‬‭ repurposing‬‭ decaying‬‭ food‬‭ from‬‭ our‬‭ Farm‬‭ stand‬‭ into‬ vermicasting,‬‭ brewing‬‭ and‬‭ sharing‬‭ all‬‭ of‬‭ its‬‭ benefits.‬‭ Going‬‭ forward‬‭ We‬‭ will‬‭ be‬ producing‬‭ natural‬‭ worm‬‭ casting‬‭ so‬‭ that‬‭ our‬‭ community‬‭ members‬‭ will‬‭ have‬ access‬‭ to‬‭ natural‬‭ methods‬‭ of‬‭ boosting‬‭ their‬‭ plants‬‭ with‬‭ nutrients‬‭ and‬‭ other‬ benefits‬‭ .‬‭ We‬‭ look‬‭ to‬‭ reduce‬‭ the‬‭ number‬‭ of‬‭ community‬‭ members‬‭ who‬‭ use‬ fertilizers‬‭ and‬‭ other‬‭ products‬‭ full‬‭ of‬‭ chemicals.‬‭ While‬‭ increasing‬‭ the‬‭ number‬‭ who‬ engage‬‭ in‬‭ the‬‭ vermicasting‬‭ process.‬‭ With‬‭ an‬‭ end‬‭ goal‬‭ of‬‭ producing‬‭ enough‬‭ worm‬ castings‬‭ to‬‭ sustain‬‭ our‬‭ community‬‭ agriculture‬‭ needs.‬

We‬‭ look‬‭ to‬‭ expand‬‭ our‬‭ capacity‬‭ and‬‭ Developing‬‭ a‬‭ large‬‭ composting‬‭ system‬‭ that‬ includes‬‭ traditional‬‭ composting‬‭ and‬‭ XL‬‭ vermicomposting‬‭ bins.‬‭ We‬‭ look‬‭ to‬‭ be‬ more‬‭ efficient‬‭ in‬‭ processing‬‭ food‬‭ waste‬‭.‬‭We‬‭ look‬‭ to‬‭ Provide‬‭ opportunities‬‭ to‬‭ our‬ members‬‭ and‬‭ empower‬‭ them‬‭ in‬‭ being‬‭ able‬‭ to‬‭ extend‬‭ the‬‭ life‬‭ of‬‭ food‬‭ and‬‭ push‬ back‬‭ the‬‭ decaying‬‭ process. The‬‭ decaying‬‭ food‬‭ that‬‭ is‬‭ left‬‭ over‬‭ will‬‭ be‬‭ regenerated‬ into‬‭ top‬‭ quality‬‭ soil‬‭ enhancers,‬‭ worm‬‭ castings‬. The‬‭ product‬‭ that‬‭ is‬‭ harvested‬‭ will‬ be‬‭ utilized‬‭ to‬‭ fundraise‬‭ and‬‭ transform‬‭ the‬‭ nutrient‬‭ insufficient‬‭ /‬‭ chemically‬.
